This is an example School Day Schedule for a Single Mum of 2 (Including Evening Prep and Reading Journal Time)
Evening Routine (Night Before)
7:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Children's bath/bedtime routine starts
7:30 PM - 8:00 PM: Story Time
8:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Prepare for the next day (iron school clothes, pack bags, prepare lunch)
8:30 PM - 9:00 PM: Mum's relaxation/self-care time
9:00 PM: Mum's bedtime
Morning Routine
6:00 AM: Wake up, personal care
6:30 AM: Breakfast preparation
7:00 AM: Wake kids, breakfast together
7:30 AM: Kids get ready for school (dress, teeth, pack up)
Mid-Morning
8:00 AM - 8:30 AM: School drop-off
8:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Work/focused tasks time (with a short break)
Afternoon
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch and brief rest or walk
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Continue work tasks
3:00 PM - 3:30 PM: School pick-up
